TrojanUV3000PTP - Package Treatment Plant Wastewater Solution


Designed as a generic type of UV disinfection unit, the Trojan Package Treatment Plant (PTP) is very price competitive and offers an "off-the-shelf" solution for operators with limited budgets and limited treatment requirements.

Our smallest wastewater system in terms of flow-handling, the TrojanUV3000™PTP is ideally suited to treat flows up to 2.8 MGD (441.6 m3/hr). The TrojanUV3000™PTP can be equipped with pre-fabricated stainless steel channels and transition boxes for in-line integration with existing flanged piping – thus minimizing engineering and installation costs.



The TrojanUV3000™B offers a cost-effective UV disinfection solution for wastewater treatment plants with limited resources. The system uses energy-efficient, low-pressure lamps.

The TrojanUV3000™B is available with a controller that enables flow pacing to maximize operating efficiency and extend lamp life. The system turns UV lamp banks on and off automatically to ensure the required dose is met using the fewest lamps and least electricity. These simple, robust, and operator-friendly systems have demonstrated their effective, reliable performance in over 1,000 installations around the world.



Designed as one of the most intelligent disinfection solutions on the market, the TrojanUV3000Plus™ features fully Automatic Chemical/Mechanical cleaning (ActiClean™) to ensure the lamp sleeves are continuously kept clean. Incorporating high-output, low-pressure lamps, the system automatically dims the lamps to match any drop in flow demand or increases in water clarity.



The TrojanUV4000Plus™ is the first commercially-successful, medium-pressure UV lamp system that’s specifically designed for handling high volume and lower quality wastewater.

Incorporating ActiClean™ - Automatic Chemical/Mechanical cleaning technology, the TrojanUV4000Plus™ is the ultimate solution for a virtually maintenance-free system. With over 375 installations – including some of the largest wastewater treatment plants in the world – the TrojanUV4000Plus™ is allowing engineers and operators to incorporate chemical-free, UV disinfection for large flows of 10 MGD (1,578 m3/hr) and greater in a minimal amount of space – with a fraction of the number of lamps required by low-pressure systems. Depending on site and design conditions, wastewater treatment plants producing filtered effluent sometimes prefer a disinfection solution using closed-vessel or pressurized UV reactors.

The TrojanUVFit™ offers an effective and energy-efficient closed-vessel UV solution. This compact reactor is available in multiple configurations to treat a wide range of flow rates. Environmental Contaminant Treatment (ECT)

UV-oxidation has emerged as a powerful tool in the water treatment toolbox for the simultaneous treatment of environmental contaminants and disinfection.

Because conventional treatment technologies often fail to remove emerging contaminants such as pesticides, taste and odour-causing compounds, and industrial contaminants from water, the application of UV-oxidation is growing rapidly. Carefully designed and optimized Trojan UV-oxidation systems for ECT cost-effectively destroy these compounds safely and efficiently on a large scale, while simultaneously disinfecting.



The TrojanUVPhox™ (UV-photolysis and UV-oxidation) solution is a groundbreaking, pressurized ultraviolet (UV) light reactor that utilizes Trojan’s high-output, monochromatic amalgam UV lamps.

The TrojanUVPhox™ was designed to maximize efficiency - using 50%-90% less energy than other similarly sized UV reactors. Through the extensive use of computational fluid dynamics models and other computer simulation tools, it has been optically and hydraulically optimized to provide extremely efficient and cost-effective UV treatment. Its unique design allows for the use of multiple reactors in series. This gives the TrojanUVPhox™ an extremely compact footprint, making efficient use of space in a water treatment facility.



The TrojanUVSwift™ECT is a hydraulically optimized, polychromatic lamp-based UV reactor for use in the treatment of environmental contaminants. It is suitable for removing contaminants from large flow rates within a compact footprint.

The TrojanUVSwift™ECT employs sophisticated controls to optimize the treatment of environmental contaminants. The broad light spectrum of light emitted in the TrojanUVSwift™ECT makes it extremely well suited for the treatment of many contaminants, particularly some pesticides and taste and odor-causing compounds found in surface waters. Its ultra-compact footprint, its ability to apply large amounts of UV light, and high flow capacity make it an excellent reactor for use as part of a multi-barrier system in large municipal applications. In such an application, the TrojanUVSwift™ECT destroys contaminants such as pharmaceuticals and taste and odor-causing compounds while providing disinfection of chlorine-resistant protozoa.
