Pressure media filtration is a cost effective filtration method with a smaller footprint than gravity filtration. Pressure filters utilise a pressurised vessel in which a fluid stream contacts granular media for physical and/or chemical removal.
Filtration Technology designs and manufactures a range of packaged pressure media filtration units for a variety of applications and media.
The units include all pipework, valving and controls to enable filtering, filter to waste, aeration and backwashing sequences. The units can be skid mounted to allow for ease of transport, and to allow for relocating the system at a later date.

Providing the pressure requirement through the vessel isn’t too excessive, then the vessels are contructed from fibreglass, UV stabilised to allow the plant to be installed outside.
Should the feed water be highly turbid we suggest that a FILTEC Lamella Settler be used as pre-treatment option for the pressure filtration skid.
Should it be required Filtration Technology’s Project Team can design the auxiliary equipment around the skid, e.g. pre-treatment, building, backwash pumps, chemical dosing and backwash water treatment to allow for a complete turnkey treatment plant package.
