Filter Press Feeding

Its low operating cost makes this pump a winner in many applications where abrasion resistance is the main requirement of the user, ensuring a longer pump life and the most cost-effective maintenance solution.
The application of the Rotho peristaltic pump to the high pressures feed of the "filter press" is very much recommended as it reduces the installed power by at least 50% when compared with other types of pumps. Filtration time is shorter because the flow rate is smoother, without any air pockets that may form when loading the filter chambers, and all the work is concentrated in a single pump, from filling to the final compaction of the pressed mud, which is an important aspect of the operating cost since pump regeneration is reduced to the simple replacement of the tubing.
